Miles Christian Daniels is a seasoned journalist, video and television producer, and communications executive with decades of professional experience. He is a former staff writer for The Virginian-Pilot and his news and feature articles have appeared in more than 100 publications including San Francisco Chronicle, Seattle Times, Raleigh’s News and Observer, Atlanta-Journal Constitution, and St. Petersburg Times. As a producer, Miles worked on a wide range of television and film projects including City of Churches, an Emmy-Winning documentary series. Miles is head of corporate communications at Twiddy & Company and previously served as Senior Vice President of Media Strategy and Executive Communications at a global communications agency. Most importantly, Miles is an Outer Banks native who grew up in the area and spent more than twenty years of his professional career working in New York City and San Francisco. He serves on numerous boards including the Currituck Chamber of Commerce, Dare County Arts Council, Homes of Hope India, and North Carolina State University’s College of Natural Resources.
