Five Dare County employees were recognized with a service pin presentation at the Dare County Board of Commissioners meeting that was held at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022.

Sandy Pace, community center manager, Virginia S. Tillett Community Center, 25-year pin
Terence Sheehy, deputy director for Dare County EMS, 25-year pin.
Wanda McMahon, community health technician for the Dare County Department of Health & Human Services’ Social Services Division, 20-year pin.
Felisha Norman, income maintenance supervisor for the Dare County Department of Health & Human Services’ Social Services Division, 15-year pin.
Sally Helms, senior social worker supervisor for the Dare County Department of Health & Human Services’ Social Services Division, 15-year pin.
