Current TV, in partnership with Dare County, has released a new video as part of its Destination Dare series that honors the winner of the 2022 Dare County Employee of the Year award: Amy Elkins, who serves as a telecommunications shift supervisor for the Dare County Sheriff’s Office 911 Communications Center in Manteo.
Elkins, who also received the Dare County Employee of the Month award in June 2022, was selected for the prestigious Dare County Employee of the Year award from the 12 recipients who were named Employee of the Month from January 2022 through December 2022.
Elkins received her 2022 Employee of the Year award during a presentation made by Dare County 911 Communications Center Director Captain Jack Scarborough at the Dare County Board of Commissioners meeting on February 6.
