The Museum of the Albemarle will host our monthly History for Lunch on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 12 p.m. in the Gaither Auditorium.

In recognition of “Marker Season,” Ansley Herring Wegner, administrator of the North Carolina Highway Historical Marker Program, North Carolina Office of Archives and History, will join the Museum virtually to cover the modern administration of the Historical Marker Program and how it has changed over the years. Participants also will learn more about North Carolina History.

The Museum will offer the History for Lunch in-person and through Zoom. Register in advance through the Museum’s Facebook page or website, museumofthealbemarle.com, to receive link to attend lecture virtually.

The virtual program is supported by Southern Bank and Biggs Cadillac Buick GMC of Elizabeth City.
