Parks Zeigler, PLLC is pleased to share that Kimberly D. Pellini, Esquire has joined its Elizabeth City, North Carolina office. Pellini’s practice will focus entirely on criminal and traffic defense matters.
“I am delighted to be joining Parks Zeigler, PLLC. When I decided to leave the District Attorney’s Office, I was looking to join a firm that was experienced, passionate, and focused on client service,” Pellini said.

Previously an Assistant District Attorney in North Carolina’s First Prosecutorial District for over 15 years, Pellini has extensive trial experience with a wide variety of criminal matters, from simple misdemeanor charges to the most serious of felonies.
Having prosecuted cases in the First District on a regular basis, Pellini is well known throughout the various courts of northeastern North Carolina.
A Navy veteran, born and raised in eastern North Carolina, Pellini graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida International University before continuing to Regent University School of Law.
Pellini is a Board-Certified Specialist in North Carolina State Criminal Law and teaches law-related classes at the College of the Albemarle. She is an active member of the North Carolina First District Bar and has previously served as the secretary, vice president, and president of the Association.
With the addition of Pellini, Parks Zeigler, PLLC is proud to expand its northeastern North Carolina criminal and traffic defense practice group within the first year of opening the doors to its Elizabeth City location in January 2022.
