Get your spring cleaning started really early at the Community Shred Event on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 9 am to 12 pm at Nags Head Town Hall, 5401 South Croatan Highway.
The Outer Banks Woman’s Club will be volunteering at the event and collecting non-perishable food items for the Food Bank.
Items you can shred include Tax Documents, Bank Statements, Canceled Checks, Travel Documents, Paycheck Stubs, ATM and Credit Card Receipts and Statements, Insurance Documents and Utility Bills.
Items that cannot be shred: Hanging Folders; Food, Glass, Cans, etc.; Electronic Media (DVDs, CDs, etc.); Cardboard Tubes; Syringes; Ink Cartridges and Toners; Electrical Items; X Rays.
