Twiford Funeral Homes was presented with the distinguished Corporate Community Service Award at the Currituck Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting and awards ceremony.

This prestigious award recognizes Twiford’s outstanding commitment to making a positive impact and empowering the local community.

“We are incredibly grateful for this honor, which reflects the collective efforts of our dedicated staff and partners,” said Daniel ‘Tripp’ Harrison, Director of Community Enrichment at Twiford Funeral Homes. “It’s only through ongoing collaboration and support from our community that we’ve been able to drive meaningful initiatives and create lasting change. This award motivates us to continue striving for excellence in community service.”

The annual event, hosted at the OBX West KOA Event Center, celebrated excellence and community impact across various sectors. Chamber President Josh Bass applauded award winners for their remarkable achievements and embodiment of innovation.

“We feel incredibly honored to be recognized amongst such deserving individuals and organizations,” added Harrison. “This energizes us to continue making a difference wherever we can. The future is bright when communities come together.”

For over 90 years, Twiford Funeral Homes has provided dignified funeral services while giving back to communities across Northeastern North Carolina and the Outer Banks. This award stands as a testament to their ongoing mission.
