Despite high costs acting as deterrent, many Americans still prioritize for travel

High travel costs continue to be a deterrent to travels, reports Future Partners, and continues to trend upwards.

Nearly half of American travelers say that high travel costs and/or inflation have kept them from traveling in the past month.

Despite costs being an impediment, travel is still being prioritized as a budget item, particularly among parents with school-aged children.

More than half of travelers who have school-aged children highly prioritize travel. Families with school-aged children are also traveling more often than others, reports Future Partners.

Fifty-seven percent of this group have taken at least one overnight trip in the last month, and more than 61 percent have taken at least one daytrip.
