The Currituck County Department of Travel and Tourism is seeking staffers to assist with maintenance and operation of the skating rink that will be at Historic Corolla Park as part of the Christmas In Corolla celebration.
The part-time positions pay $16.24 per hour from Thanksgiving weekend through New Years Eve. Work includes helping maintain the Glice Synthetic Ice, distributing and collecting skates, and other duties.
Additional hours are available for those who take the ice rink positions to serve as tour guides at the Historic Corolla Park facilities or work in the Corolla Visitors Center.
Training will take place on Nov. 20-21, with shifts available on Nov. 24-26, Nov. 30-Dec. 3, Dec. 7-Dec. 10, Dec. 14-17, Dec. 18-24, and Dec. 26-Dec. 31.
