Registration is now open for the 9th Annual OBX Tourism Summit, Thursday, November 2, from 8:30am – 3:00pm at the Ramada Plaza Oceanfront in Kill Devil Hills.

This year’s event hosted by the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau will be exploring the theme of “Tourism for Good.”

With a proven track record in shaping successful tourism strategies, Sara is renowned for her pioneering work in leveraging the Collective Impact framework to drive collaborative solutions to complex destination challenges.

Her insightful guidance has empowered destination leaders to navigate the intricacies of stakeholder collaboration and harness its transformative potential for sustainable destination management.

Sara has collaborated with the following esteemed organizations, Wisconsin Department of Tourism, Wisconsin Office of Outdoor Recreation, South Dakota Department of Tourism, Maine Office of Tourism, Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism, California Department of Public Health, Be Well New Mexico and Hawaii Health Connector to name a few.

Our first guest speaker, Brian Matson with Two Six Digital, will take us on a journey into the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative potential in our everyday work processes.

Registration is $55.00 per attendee early bird until October 13; afterwards $65.00 per attendee (Lunch and refreshments included).
