It’s First Friday in downtown Manteo, between 6pm and 8pm with live music, community merriment, food & drinks, shopping, and much more. First Friday is a free, family-friendly, fun event.
There will be live music all over downtown Manteo, including First Flight High School Jazz Band at Magnolia Pavilion, Tripp Harrison at Old Tom Street, Toolan & Evans at NouVines, John Baldwin at Poor Richards, Ruth Wyand at 1587, and “Uncle Jack” Waddell at Lost Colony Tavern.
Dare Arts June First Friday celebration will include live music by seven-piece band The Storyweavers as well as the debut of a fiber installation in The Courtyard by artist Elisa McVearry.
Starting at 8pm there will be a spectacular fire performance in The Courtyard by Panda Daniels to wrap up First Friday festivities.
The Manteo Stroll featuring celebrations, specials, music all over town, art, and more inside other Manteo galleries, shops and restaurants will also be happening during First Friday. Check out the map to see what establishments are participating in the June Manteo Stroll.
Please note that the Town Common parking lot will be closed on First Friday in preparation for Dare Days. If you cannot find street parking, we recommend going over the Cora Mae Basnight Bridge and parking in the extra spaces at Roanoke Island Festival Park.
