Despite concerns regarding the economy and travel costs, American travelers are excited about travel.
The percent of Americans who agree that it is a good time to spend money on travel has reached 30 percent, the highest that it has been since last summer, according to Destination Analysts.
More than half of travelers place travel as a high priority in the budgets during the next three months.
More than 80 percent of American travelers say that they expect to travel about the same or more in the next 12 months than they did in the last 12 months. Travel spending is also expected to increase, but rewards programs are still important to travelers, more so even than just a few months ago.
