Museum of Albemarle’s History for Lunch: Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with Music

March 1st, 2023

The Museum of the Albemarle will host our History for Lunch on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 12 p.m. in the Gaither Auditorium.

Robert Waters, local historian, will provide a narrative and history of Celtic and traditional Irish selections played on such instruments as the banjo, button accordion, autoharp, folk, and spoons.

Enjoy a mixture of pub songs, ballads, jigs, and more to get you ready for St. Patrick’s Day.

The Museum will offer the History for Lunch in-person and through Zoom. Register in advance through the Museum’s Facebook page or museumofthealbemarle.com to receive a link to attend the lecture virtually.

The virtual program is supported by Southern Bank of Elizabeth City.
