UPDATED, Feb. 28, 7 p.m.: A free concert featuring musicians from the United States Coast Guard at COA-Elizabeth City will take place as scheduled on Thursday, March 2, but with a different headline act.
The U.S. Coast Guard says the Coast Guard Guardians Big Band will not able to perform due to operational commitments, and will also perform throughout the weekend as part of the Official Coast Guard Marathon Weekend Event.
The concert is hosted by Visit Elizabeth City, USCG Base Elizabeth City MWR and College of The Albemarle, and will take place on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center, 1208 N. Road Street.
The concert is free and open to the public; however, tickets are required.
