February 1st, 2023

The Museum of the Albemarle will host our History for Lunch on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 12 p.m. in the Gaither Auditorium. Paul Liu, PhD, North Carolina State University, will provide a virtual lecture on seal level rise and the effects on rural northeastern North Carolina.

This program is in conjunction with Crossroads: Changes in Rural America, a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian made possible by a grant from North Carolina Humanities and Friends of the Museum of the Albemarle.

The Museum will offer the History for Lunch in-person and through Zoom. Register in advance through the Museum’s Facebook page or MuseumOfTheAlbemarle.com to receive a link to attend the lecture virtually.

The virtual program is supported by Southern Bank of Elizabeth City.
