January 16th, 2023

Are you interested in knowing what people think about the future of transportation in North Carolina?

Then, join the N.C. Department of Transportation for a webinar from noon- 1 p.m. on Monday, January 23. The agency will reveal the results of its “North Carolina Public Perception Survey: Transportation Funding and Electric Vehicles.”

The session, which will be hosted on the GoToWebinar platform, is free. Anyone is welcome to tune in.

“Transportation is changing rapidly and that will affect how we will get to where we’re going and how we will pay for the transportation network of the future,” said state Transportation Secretary Eric Boyette said. “This survey is another tool we can use to help us prepare for the future.”

The webinar will provide the findings from the 2022 public perception survey, including perceptions on how transportation is funded and peoples’ opinions of electric vehicles.

The research was conducted by N.C. State University’s Institute of Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) under the direction of Daniel Findley. Mr. Findley is the Associate Director of Education and Training at ITRE.

Registration is required to participate in the webinar. Please register at: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/8952977266599763805.
