31st annual Kites with Lights and Hangin’ with Santa over Thanksgiving weekend in Nags Head

With the holiday season right around the corner, Kitty Hawk Kites is excited to announce its annual holiday festivities: Hangin’ with Santa and Kites with Lights.

The holiday events include a visit and photo opportunity with Santa Claus, and an illuminating kite show that will light up the sky over the dunes at Jockey’s Ridge.

Santa has made special arrangements to be in town to help Kitty Hawk Kites prepare for the busy holiday season! He will visit the Kitty Hawk Kites store in Nags Head (milepost 12.5) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, November 25th, and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 26th.

Help welcome Santa to the Outer Banks and be sure to take advantage of a great photo opportunity for the kids!

Families will want to visit the Kitty Hawk Kites store in Nags Head Saturday evening for the 31st Annual Kites with Lights event. Beginning at sunset on November 26th, illuminated kites will fill the sky over Jockey’s Ridge.

This magical night is filled with many kites dancing to holiday songs. Kitty Hawk Kites will be accepting donations for the Friends of Jockey’s Ridge and supplying free hot beverages and snacks at the store for all spectators during the event.
