Currituck Christmas parade and tree lighting set for December 2

October 27th, 2022

Kick off this Holiday Season Currituck Style!

On Friday, December 2, join in on the fun at the Currituck County Center of NC Cooperative Extension. The night begins with Reindeer Games at 5:30; the annual tree lighting at 6:30; and culminates with the main event, Currituck’s 29th Annual Holiday Parade at 7:00.

Come out early, and play holiday-themed games, view the County Tree Lighting, and enjoy some cookies and hot cocoa. Bring a chair or blanket so you can have a comfortable spot to view the Holiday parade hosted by the Currituck County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #89.

If you cannot attend in person or are still not ready to be back in public, we will be live-streaming the tree lighting and parade on the Currituck Extension YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/CurrituckCES, subscribe, and ring the bell so you are notified when we go live on December 2nd.

If you are interested in participating, please complete the entry form at https://go.ncsu.edu/29thparadeentryform.

The Holiday Parade is organized by the Currituck Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #89 and NC Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center.
