Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City to celebrate 75th anniversary Thursday

The Coast Guard will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Aviation Logistics Center on Thursday at 10 a.m. in Elizabeth City.

Adm. Steven D. Poulin, Coast Guard Vice Commandant, is scheduled to attend the event along with Vice Adm. Paul F. Thomas, Deputy Commandant for Mission Support, and Rear Adm. Carola J. List, Assistant Commandant for Engineering and Logistics.

The ALC serves as the logistical support for all USCG aviation including approximately 42 aircraft overhauls every year.

This includes depot level maintenance, engineering, supply, procurement, information services, and acquisition project management. This event celebrates 75 years of workforce dedication and modernization.
