The Currituck Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors have named Sandy Davidson, Branch Manager/Assistant Vice President at TowneBank, to a South Council seat of the Board of Directors.
Sandy working in banking for 25 years and has lived in Currituck County her entire life. She has been married to Joey Davidson for 20 years. He is a Retired Sheriff Deputy for Currituck, however, still works part-time with the department. Sandy and her husband have 3 children, Autumn 14, Melody 11, and Braxton 7.
Sandy is a very active and strong advocate of the community. She currently serves on a number of boards, including serving as Vice President of Carolina Club Homeowners Association, President Currituck Law Enforcement Association, Chairman of the YMCA, as well as Chairman Ambassador Chair for the Currituck Chamber of Commerce.
Over the years, Sandy has helped set up a number of fundraisers to aid needy families. These events have benefited children, the elderly, and even families stricken with illness. Sandy has successfully worked with others over the past 15 years to raise money to sponsor children at Christmas.
