In a video released Friday afternoon, Outer Banks Hospital President Ronnie Sloan said the Outer Banks Family Medicine-Manteo will have a full compliment of physicians by the middle of this fall.
Sloan reiterated that OBFM-Manteo is not permanently closing, and explained the reasons why the practice had to terminate care for more than 2,400 patients and then institute a waiting list for those that want to rejoin.
Letters were sent this past week to those patients, explaining the procedures for joining the wait list when it opens on Monday, July 11 at at 8:30 a.m.
